From July 15th to 21st, the Cartoon Club Festival returns to Rimini for its 40th edition.
As is the tradition, there will be thematic and personal exhibitions of illustrators and cartoonists, as well as screenings of animated shorts and feature films from around the world. There will be no shortage of workshops for children, meetings with authors, conferences, and round tables on festival themes, along with shows, concerts, beach events, and much more.
The social theme selected for the 2024 Festival is "NO WAR: Animated Films and Comics Against War". Cartoon Club strives to promote a culture of peace using the art of animation and comics.
The Festival takes place in the most evocative sites in the city of Rimini, from the historic center to the sea area: Piazza Malatesta, Corte degli Agostiniani, Arena Francesca da Rimini, the 'Gambalunga' Library, the City Museum, as well as Piazzale Fellini and Palazzo del Turismo.
From July 15th to 21st, come to Piazzale Federico Fellini in Marina Centro, where the traditional village is set up for Riminicomix (Comics Market Exhibition), featuring a large stage for concerts and performances of the Cosplay Convention.
