The arrival of autumn marks the beginning of events dedicated to mushrooms in the Piacenza valleys.
In the locality of San Giorgio Piacentino, despite being in the middle of the plain along the Nure stream of celebrate: Festa del fungo e palio del fungaiolo(Mushroom Festival and Mushroom Picker's Competition)
September 18th-20th 2026 an event which includes food stands, stalls, live orchestras.
The first night is dedicated to young people, with the silent disco called "Silent(disco) del fungo".
