The scent of tradition returns to embrace the streets of Sestola with the new edition of Fôla dla Chersènta, scheduled for Sunday, September 28th, 2025. A day dedicated to rediscovering one of the most authentic flavors of the Modenese Apennines: the crescentina—chersènta in dialect—the typical flatbread cooked between two tigelle and filled with genuine ingredients from our mountains.
The town will be transformed into a journey of taste and conviviality, where food stands and refreshment areas will offer ancient recipes, all tied to the thread of peasant tradition. There will also be markets of typical products, workshops for adults and children, folk music, and stories weaving together history and legend—just like in a true fôla, a fairy tale coming to life in the streets of the historic center.
Sestola will welcome guests and visitors in a warm and festive atmosphere, offering the chance to experience an event that blends flavors, culture, and memory.
An appointment not to be missed for those who love good food, authentic villages, and traditions that withstand the test of time.
