On Easter and Easter Monday Tredozio celebrates the traditional Egg Festival and Palio, with games, tastings, and exhibitions, aimed at enhancing the ancient custom of beating hard-boiled eggs which took place in the nearby Parish of Ottignana on Easter day .
The tradition, which has been perpetuated since 1964, reaches its 58th edition this year.
The unique and exclusive subject of the Palio competitions is the egg, both raw and hard-boiled.
On Sunday, 31 March 2024: the Sfogline Championships, the hard-boiled egg eaters and the girls of the 4 districts await you for the "Palio Donne" ("Women's Challenge").
On Monday, 1 April 2024: the allegorical parade and the Challenge of the 58th Palio dell'Uovo will be set.
New this year: on Monday, you can have lunch at the food stand organized by the Pro Loco.
During the event various types of exhibitions will be set up (handicraft, artistic, photographic), you can attend shows with street artists and games with the involvement of the public (the classic giant egg fishing and the piñata). At the Pro Loco food stands you can taste the typical products of the Romagna tradition.
