Gualtieri hosts the exhibition that retraces the history of Umberto Tirelli (Gualtieri, 1928 - Rome, 1990), the great tailor of theatre and cinema who dressed stars of the Roman Dolce Vita (Sweet Life), seeing his clothes exhibited at Louvre, Metropolitan Museum, Palazzo Pitti and the Tokyo Costume Museum.
The exhibition focuses on the private side of Umberto Tirelli, on the figure of a refined collector capable of building a tailor-made art collection, starting from deep friendships with great artists and costume designers.
On display are photos, sketches, graphic works, oil paintings and costumes, as well as fifteen paintings and five valuable bronze sculptures by Antonio Ligabue.
