The Passo Penice ski resort is located on the slopes of the Passo Penice mountain (1460 meters above sea level), on the border between Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna, between the municipalities of Monconico (PV) and Bobbio (PI).
Its particular geographical position makes it the perfect spot to ski while enjoyng breathtaking views, such as the extraordinary scenery of Bobbio and the Trebbia Valley, but also that of the Ligurian Apennines and the Oltrepo Pavese stretch of the Po Valley.
The resort is especially popular in winter, with routes of varying difficulty. Thanks to an efficient artificial snow system, snow is always guaranteed between December and March, and sometimes even later.
There are two ski lifts, three ski slopes and one route for cross-country skiing, all covered in snow and lit for night skiing.
It is the perfect location to let your children take their first steps on the snow.
The ski resort also offers a professional ski school with over forty years of experience, that organizes various courses ranging from skiing to snowboarding, with individual or group lessons, also designed for disabled people.
There are also bobsleigh routes, suitable for young and old alike, as well as adventurous hiking activities, such as snowshoeing from the Passo to the summit of Monte Penice.
