This important agricultural centre, in the core of the Strada del Culatello, on the west side of the Stirone River boasts ancient origins and the nickname “Lady of the Lowlands”.

Particularly interesting in Soragna is the Rocca Meli Lupi, built in 1385 by marquises Bonifacio and Antonio Lupi, then transformed into a sumptuous residence for the princes still living in it nowadays.

Among the most interesting spots in Soragna are the worth noting Sinagogue, the annexed Jewish Museum, the Museum Giovannino Guareschi hosted in the bell tower of Diolo and the Museum of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
