The new edition of the Porretta Soul Festival, one of the most important soul festivals in Italy and in the world, kicks off at Rufus Thomas Park in Porretta Terme (Alto Reno Terme).
In the four evenings, July 24 to 27, world-renowned rhythm and blues artists will take turns performing in the amphitheater of Parco 'Rufus Thomas': this year's House Band will be the Memphis Music Hall of Fame Band, led by Kurt Clayton.
In addition to the main events there are many other initiatives planned in Porretta Terme during the festival and in the days leading up to it. Starting from the free concerts at the Rufus Thomas Cafe Stage, in Piazza della Libertà and Piazza delle Tele, at Hotel Helvetia and through the streets of the town where you can also admire the series of 13 murals dedicated to the legends of Soul.
