To celebrate the arrival of the Tour de France 2024, Galeata and Santa Sofia offer a rich calendar of events: two concerts that will take place as part of "ARTEria SP4 - Festival of music and art of the Bidente Valley... waiting for the Tour de France".
Starting on Thursday, June 27, at 21:30, in the Renaissance cloister of Pianetto (Galeata) with Adame Scone, who will bring the sound of his Hammond with the project "Scone Cash Players".
Events continue on Friday, June 28, at 21:30, at the Parco della Resistenza in Santa Sofia, with a concert by Joan Osborne.
In addition, many activities will enliven the area during the weekend:
• On June 27, 28 and 29, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., it will be possible to experience the thrill of going up in a hot air balloon (braked flight) and see Galeata from above, the village of Pianetto, the archaeological excavations and the surrounding countryside;
• On June 29, the "Acqua di Colonia" event in the Santa Sofia River Park, with music, food stands and more;
• on June 29, in the hamlet of Spinello, a day dedicated to flavors with the "Sagra della Fiorentina".
• and finally, on Sunday, June 30, the traditional festival of S. Paolo in Alpe will be held in one of the most picturesque places of the Casentino Forest National Park.
