On Sunday, 7 April 2024, in Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole, "Tesori Aperti" (Open Treasures) will take place, a day dedicated to the discovery of places that bear witness to the prestigious role played by Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole since the Middle Ages.
12 treasures, usually not accessible, that will be opened to the public on this occasion to make their fascinating beauty known.
For one day, these places will live again through the tales of those who inhabited them and exceptional "keepers" who will share their memories with visitors.
There will be two spots to start discovering these treasures: the Welcome Room in Castrocaro Terme and Terra del Sole Tourist Information Point, where you can collect the map with the 12 points of interest for visits and the bracelet providing your entrance.
This year "Tesori aperti" is held during the Festa della Madonna, known as "Festa dei Fiori" (flower festival), the traditional celebration dedicated to the Virgin Mary who, according to the townspeople, protected Castrocaro Terme from the plague.
