The director Roberto Andò will be the guest of honor of the 22nd edition of the Porretta Terme Film Festival in the charming Apennine town from 2 to 10 December.
A retrospective will be dedicated to the Sicilian director, which will propose four films to public and critics, including his latest success , “La Stranezza”.
On this occasion Andò will also give a lecture to the students of Porretta on the relationship between cinema and theater.
Another "pearl" of the exhibition will be the photographic exhibition dedicated to the shots of the cinematographic art of Luciana Mulas, a photographer of great prestige, a master of portraits and more.
Roberto Benigni is the absolute protagonist of the exhibition La Prima Volta di... dedicated to the debut of internationally renowned directors, with the screening of the famous film "Tu mi turbi ", for its 40th anniversary.
As part of the festival to be noted is also the Concorso fuori dal giro, now in its 11th edition, which this year sees six quality national films competing. And the Elio Petri National Prize, the flagship of the festival dedicated to the great director. In addition, this year the section Un sguardo altrove, dedicated to foreign cinema, continues, enriching the week of the festival with views of distant worlds and cultures.
