  • First stop - San Mauro San Mauro Pascoli

    Our visit begins in San Mauro Pascoli, Giovanni Pascoli's hometown, where accessible parking makes for an easy arrival.

    The first stop is Casa Pascoli, in the heart of the historic center: a perfectly accessible residence that offers an immersive journey through the words and memory of the famous poet.

    A few kilometers further south in the direction of the seaside is Villa Torlonia - Pascoli Poetry Park. the new multimedia, barrier-free museum: the full visit takes about an hour.

    After the visit, a walk through the streets of the village gives the opportunity for a stop at a piadineria.

    When you reach San Mauro Mare, just 5 minutes away, you can stroll along the seafront promenade, which is both wheelchair and stroller accessible, or relax at one of the bathing establishments, equipped with walkways and accessible beach chairs. 

    A seaview aperitif at one of the many kiosks perfectly completes the afternoon.

    For those who want to end the day on the move, just steps from the sea is the new inclusive fitness area in Don Ivo Rossi Park. The fully accessible area is free and open 24 hours a day, offering everyone the chance to work out in a welcoming, barrier-free environment.

  • Second stop - Cesenatico Cesenatico

    The second day is dedicated to Cesenatico. In this seafaring and cultural town, where hospitality blends with accessibility, everything is designed for a barrier-free stay: from museums to restaurants, up to urban spaces. 

    To visit:

    • Maritime Museum, with its floating and land sections, tells the history of the Adriatic Sea: the Museum is also completely accessible thanks to barrier-free paths, elevators, tactile panels and a multisensory scale model of a historic boat made with original materials such as wood, canvas and hemp for the ropes;
    • Moretti House, which was the home of the writer Marino Moretti, and preserves original environments and a precious literary archive. The house-museum is equipped with audio supports and Braille materials that allow everyone to learn about the life and works of the writer. 

    They both overlook the Leonardesque Canal, an obstacle-free cycle and pedestrian path and beating heart of the city.

    Finally, for a tasty break, Cesenatico offers accessible trattorias with dedicated services and easy access. The town dedicates two important food festivals to seafood cuisine: in spring "Azzurro come il pesce" and in autumn "Il pesce fa festa

  • Third stop - Gatteo Gatteo Mare

    The second day continues south to Gatteo: the perfect place to explore winter history and architecture.

    Things to see and do

    • Piazza Vesi, the center of the town and starting point of the free guided tours organized by Italia Nostra: in about an hour on a Saturday morning, expert guides accompany you through the secrets of the town.
    • “Gli Antonelli” Cultural Center, former Casa del Fascio now restored, hosts the Ceccarelli Municipal Library and an evocative archaeological exhibition dedicated to local protohistory: a dive into the origins of the territory, with finds from excavations carried out between 2008 and 2021. The exhibition can be visited by reservation during the library opening hours.
    • Remains (walls and tower) of the Malatesta Castle, with the stone bridge that replaces the ancient drawbridge.
    • Oratorio di San Rocco, a small fifteenth-century jewel decorated with frescoes dedicated to historical plagues. Open exceptionally during these guided tours.
