In the middle of the picturesque pinewoods of Cervia, the Casa delle Farfalle [Butterfly House] offers a unique experience to all those who visit. It is a surprising place that captures the attention and the curious gaze of adults and children alike, but also teaches them to respect animals and nature.

The beating heart of the park is a large tropical greenhouse that is over 500 metres square. Surrounded by exotic flowers, bananas, ficus trees and carnivorous plants, the pavilion gathers together hundreds of free-flying, brightly coloured and spectacular butterflies from all over the world.

In the outdoor area, a botanical display and a large garden provide an oasis of relaxation in the midst of the greenery, which is the home of the Casa degli insetti [Insect House], where you can admire live crickets, mantis, beetles and other small creatures, and Il Bruco [The Caterpillar] glasshouse, with many species of Italian butterflies.
