Why visit it

An elegant and renowned beach resort immersed in greenery and surrounded by an ancient and lush pinewood, it combines a lively centre with a peaceful natural environment.

Take a stroll through the city centre, full of beautiful and fashionable shops, restaurants, discotheques, night clubs and cafes. Its sandy and clean beach is friendly, safe and ideal both for families and young people. Entertainment programmes are available everywhere along the beach, so that everybody can have fun and relax at the same time.

When to go and what to see

Milano Marittima is home to the Butterfly House, one of the rare examples in Italy. It consists of an air conditioned green house of over 800 square metres reproducing the typical rainforest environment, with living butterflies and many species of insects.

Surrounded by the pinewood, near Milano Marittima centre, lies the Congress Centre, a multifunctional structure with more than 1000 seats, exhibition areas and a restaurant.

Through the pinewood paths you can reach the Natural Park, a remarkable environmental resource and home to a rich wildlife and flora typical of seaside pinewoods. Within the natural park you can experience tons of excitement at the new park CerviAvventura, with its five adventure paths through the trees.

Main events

Not far from the centre and the pinewood you will find important sporting centres where championships, tournaments and top-quality events are organized.
