Built in the woods of the Alps of Monghidoro, among the greenery of Mount Oggioli at an altitude of 1,000 metres, every year - from April to September - Triton’s Park opens its doors to the most daring.
Fixed and swinging walkways, ropes, trapezes and net tunnels invite you to challenge your fear of heights and test your balance until you reach the dreaded 11-metre platform, where the longest and highest zip line in all of Emilia-Romagna awaits the bravest to take a plunge into the unknown.
Guided by experienced instructors and fitted with the appropriate equipment, there are seven aerial routes, five for adults and two for children. Immersed in the forest, you will experience excitement, the fervour of competition and the thrill of the unexpected but, above all, thanks to the aerial adventure trails, you will test your concentration and balance, as well as gaining a sense of responsibility and care for the environment.
In the breaks between one adventure and the other, you can enjoy a well-deserved rest in the picnic area or near the spectacular pond that is home to several specimens of Triturus, a species of newt known as “tritone” in Italian, hence the name of the park. Finally, there are numerous establishments in the surrounding area where you can stay overnight or savour local traditional dishes.
Within the park, there are many professions at work: from mountain guides to environmental hiking guides, from aerial course instructors to entertainer/educators. In addition to the possibility of testing your mettle on the aerial adventure courses, there are many other things to do: guided hikes, climbing lessons, orienteering activities, environmental education, etc.
Entrance to the park area is free; you will be charged to take part in the individual activities on offer.
