Surrounded by the peaks of Mount Falco (1,657 m), Mount Falterona (1,654 m) and Mount Gabrendo (1,540 m), Campigna is the smallest and highest village in the Bidente Valley, the heart of the Casentinesi Forest National Park, one of the most important historic forests in Italy.

Easily accessible from the cities of the Romagna plain and also from the Tuscan side of the mountains via the hairpin bends of the Bidentina main road, it offers breathtaking views of Sasso Fratino, Poggio Scali, the Massif of Mount Falterona and the plains of Casentino.

A popular tourist resort throughout the year, during the winter it is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders looking for fun and tranquillity.

Two downhill slopes covered by automated artificial snowmaking systems and served by a ski lift, a ski school slope with carpet lifts that make it possible to climb back up the hill with bobsleigh/sleds and a baby park are available for Alpine skiers. For snowboard lovers, there is a terrain park with three lines for tricks and two jumps at 5 and 8 meters high, respectively. Lastly, completing the services available in the resort is a 5-km cross-country ski loop trail, a ski school and – for those who do not have their own equipment – the possibility to rent skis, boots, ski poles or snowboards right at the entrance to the ski slopes.

Staying in Campigna means being in one of the most popular centres and the pulsating heart of the Casentinesi Forest National Park, which features a complete network of paths that allow you to immerse yourself in the magic of the woods of this area, with or without snow.

Hotels, farmhouses and mountain shelters are available for tourists who flock here from all over the surrounding area. In addition, there are refreshment points, parking areas for cars and campers, a tennis court and a children's play area, which offer elements of comfort that do not detract from the natural beauty of the area, making for an amazing outdoor holiday.

Just a few kilometres away is the thermal spa town of Bagno di Romagna, which allows visitors to combine skiing with the wellness and pampering provided by natural thermal springs.
