With a collection of over 100 images including set photos, shots stolen during filming and some rare stills, Rimini is preparing to celebrate Marcello Mastroianni's 100th birthday with a photo exhibition hosted by the Fellini Museum until 20 January, paying homage not only to his unique talent and charisma, but also to the special bond that united him to Federico Fellini.
On 31 October, at 2 pm, the photographic exhibition ‘Semplicemente Marcello. Il cinema, il fascino, lo stile di un antidivo di successo’, curated by Laura Delli Colli, journalist and cinema expert, and open until 20 January.
The exhibition presents a selection of 120 images divided into five sections that illustrate the multifaceted talent and extraordinary versatility of Marcello Mastroianni, distinctive traits that helped define the exceptional career of one of the most illustrious actors in Italian cinema. Thanks to the international notoriety he achieved as the protagonist in Federico Fellini's two iconic films, La dolce vita and 8½, Mastroianni became a symbol of the Italian ‘way of life’ on the world stage.

Also on the opening day, a meeting dedicated to the figure of Marcello Mastroianni is scheduled at 6 p.m. in the Sala Federico of the Fulgor cinema. His skills as an actor and his relationship with directors, in particular Federico Fellini and Ettore Scola, will be explored. Speakers, in addition to the moderator Laura Delli Colli, will be Andrea Guerra, Gianfranco Angelucci, Fabrizio Corallo and Silvia Scola, authors of the docufilm "Ciao Marcello. Mastroianni the Antidiva."
