New opening. Monday 17th May the Roman section of Piacenza Civic Museum opens.

After the restoration of the underground area and an in-depth study of artifacts, the New Archaeological Museum is ready to open its doors to the public, inside Palazzo Farnese.
Visitors will have the opportunity to admire pieces which have never been exhibited before; 1400 finds, 15 rooms to tell the story of Roman Placentia, from its foundation until the Langobard age in the IV Century a.C.
