From 1960s California to contemporary Emilia-Romagna, skateboarding is an increasingly popular sport among Emilia-Romagna's younger generations.
Beyond public parks and city gardens, where it is easy to run into skateboarders and longboarders, there are already numerous places in the region where skateboarders can practice triking and jumping on ramps, or halfpipes.
Below is a collection of skateparks in Emilia-Romagna, from Piacenza to Rimini.
In Piacenza, at the Municipal Skatepark in Corso Europa, there is a 120 sq. m. wooden halfpipe, while in San Giorgio Piacentino there is a skatepark inside the Nure Park, both managed by the Piacenza Skateboard School.
